The fourth Smart to Future Cities conference will be held at the Waldorf Hotel, organised by Ovum. Its theme is “Urban IoT enabling smart cities in the resilient, smart city.” The keynote address will be delivered by Elizabeth Yee, VP strategic partnerships and solutions of Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities programme, which is designed to promote urban resilience around the world. The programme will award grants to 100 cities that “have demonstrated a dedicated commitment to building their own capacities to prepare for, withstand, and bounce back rapidly from shocks and stresses”.
