The Connect Show will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 21-22 April 2015. It promises to “cover everything from Internet of Things (IoT), UAV/remotely piloted aircraft, wearable tech, data/analytics, robotics, enterprise mobility, augmented reality, future of work and much more.” The organiser are expecting more than 5,000 attendees and more than 170 exhibitors.
Eleven conferences are planned. Speakers include Sebastian Thrun, founder of Google X Labs and winner of DARPA driverless car challenge (USA); Don Tapscott, author, speaker and advisor on media, technology and innovation (Canada), Bill Morrow, CEO, NBN Co; Barb Edson, General manager cloud & enterprise marketing, IoT Industry Team, Microsoft (USA); Mark Sheppard, CIO, GE Australia/NZ; Maciej Kranz, vice president, Corporate Technology Group, Cisco Systems (USA); Rod A Smith, IBM fellow and vice president, IBM Emerging Technologies (USA).
