Global mathematical software company, Mathworks is holding a series of seminars around Australia on the use of its MATLAB and Simulink products for analysis of IoT data.
MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment used that “lets you explore and visualise ideas and collaborate across disciplines including signal and image processing, communications, control systems, and computational finance.”
Simulink provides a graphical editor, customisable block libraries, and solvers for modelling and simulating dynamic systems. It is integrated with MATLAB, enabling you to incorporate MATLAB algorithms into models and export simulation results to MATLAB for further analysis.
The seminars are in two parts. The first “will discuss how MATLAB addresses the challenges of modern day data analytics within an Internet of Things framework.” You will learn “Why MATLAB is used in many industries to reduce costs and risk, and improve performance and technology.”
The second part will take a deeper dive into the application of MATLAB to solve some real world data analytics problems. It will be useful mainly for engineers and data scientists.
