Newcastle IoT Pioneers, a new IoT Meetup group, will hold its second meeting at the Stag and Hunter hotel in Newcastle, 6.30pm on Thursday 1 September, on The Industrial Internet of Things.
The meeting is sponsored by Schneider Electric, and Brad Yager director process automation offer and business development with Schneider, will kick it off with a short presentation on what Schneider is doing in the IoT world. The second speaker will be announced shortly.
The group was started by Newie Ventures cofounder Heath Raftery and, according to its web page is “looking for hustlers, hackers and hipsters who want to take advantage of IoT. Whether you’re ready to show off your project or concept, or just keen to see what the buzz is about, drop in or drop us a line.”
It plans to hold regular meetings on the first Thursday of the month.
