Australian Utility Week, a conference and exhibition spanning all aspects of the utilities industry, is coming up in Sydney at the end of November, and will have a strong focus on advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
In addition to metering, a regular feature, new themes will include the energy service model, digital model transformation strategies, maintenance and field service strategies, solar storage integration and customer strategies, the Internet of Things, and building the customer-centric business strategies.
Australian Utility Week serves as an annual meeting point for the utility sector and is attended by 1500+ international visitors from all levels of the utility value chain from technology giants to startups and from senior-level experts to young talents. It is the only expo in NZ or Australia that focuses exclusively on digital and customer-facing innovations.
The event is in its 14th year, and the theme for 2016 is Building the infrastructure to support utilities operational excellence goals and future energy services.
