The IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) will stage its two-day IoT Impact event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Sydney from 15-16 October.
It is IoTAA’s second annual event and the organisation says this year the focus will be on IoT adoption “with real life case studies and hands-on workshops empowering delegates with the knowledge they need to seize the business opportunities IoT can bring to their organisation.”
IoTAA says its IoT Impact Conference 2019 will stand out in a market “saturated with IoT events” because “content isn’t just ‘built’ out of a need to run an event, it’s built around a complete IoT ecosystem that influences collaboration and drives uptake of IoT across communities and industries in Australia, 365 days a year.”
The event will prioritise cross sector collaboration between smart cities, smart precincts, smart buildings, food and agribusiness, water, energy, transport, manufacturing and health.
There will be two conference streams and sessions covering IoT in energy, water, health, cities, food and agriculture, transport and manufacturing, data use, cybersecurity, connectivity, AI , data authenticity and blockchain.
There will be eight workshops running concurrent with the conference streams. NSW minister for customer service will speak on the NSW Government’s IoT policy.
