The IoT M2M Council — which claims to be the largest trade group serving the IoT community — will stage a full two-day conference for industrial users, online.
The, free, Industrial IoT Online Summit will be held 10:00 to 16:00 hours Eastern Daylight Time (US) on 22 and 23 April 2020, but registered participants will be able to view all sessions after the event for six months. It will comprise four consecutive half day sessions:
Track 1: Industrial Network Connectivity
Track 2: Edge Compute in the Factory Setting
Track 3: Platforms and Clouds Manage Data
Track 4: IIoT in the Supply Chain
Registration is available for the individual sessions or for the full conference.
The council says the conference will cover a wide range of industrial IoT subjects, including private LTE networks, edge analytics, data exchanges, 5G, machine learning, public clouds, blockchain security, low-cost connectivity, and more. The IMC will promote the conference heavily to its membership of qualified enterprise users and manufacturers, but non-members may also attend and speak.
IoT M2M Council chairman Sara Brown said the virtual event would cover the heart of industrial applications, and, if it is successful the council expects to stage additional online events dealing with consumer IoT infrastructure.
