I’ve been a journalist working in IT and telecommunications for 30 years. From the era of mainframes (my first job was with Computerworld Australia in 1984) to the Internet, and from the time of monopoly telecommunications to massive competition,   I’ve seen it all. For over 20 years I published Exchange, a weekly newsletter for the Australian telecommunications industry.

Today I wear several hats. I contribute to Fairfax Media’s IT Pro online and print news service; I edit the monthly Telecom Review Asia Pacific, contribute from time to time to other publications and undertake a range of projects for corporate clients: blog posts, white papers, case studies etc.

I also blog from time to time on many aspects of IT.
